ABOUT ME

My name is Pavel Blyumenberg. I am a music producer, songwriter, and composer creating original music and custom songs for artists, filmmakers, brands, video creators, and private clients. I write and produce music and songs under the labels PmP and PmP Records.
My specialty is creating music with precise control over genre, mood, tempo, structure, instrumentation, and overall sound. I work across a wide range of musical styles, from Blues, R&B, Soul, and Jazz to EDM, Ambient Pop, Latin Fusion, and contemporary Neoclassical music.
Music as a Finished Product — Not Just AI Generation
I use modern generative AI technologies, including Suno, as part of my creative workflow. However, I treat AI as a production tool — not as a substitute for musicianship, creative direction, or professional post-production.
My goal is not simply to generate a good-sounding track. I develop each project according to a specific creative brief, carefully selecting and refining the musical material and controlling its composition, vocals, structure, tempo, instrumentation, and overall character.
The resulting material then goes through professional post-production in a DAW. Depending on the project, this includes editing and artifact removal, noise reduction, vocal tuning, stereo imaging and panning, dynamics processing, effects, sound design, mixing, and mastering.
This combination of modern AI-assisted production, musical knowledge, and hands-on DAW work allows me to develop complex musical projects efficiently while maintaining creative and technical control over the final result.
Songwriter
I create original songs and lyrics both for my own musical projects and for clients.
I work in English, French, and Spanish.
My songwriting covers a wide range of formats, from Blues and R&B to contemporary dance music, romantic ballads, Ambient Pop, and Latin Fusion.
One of my specialties is personalized songwriting — creating an original song specifically for an individual, couple, special occasion, personal story, or creative project.
Composer
I create original classical, neoclassical, and contemporary instrumental music.
My work includes chamber and orchestral music, piano, strings, cello, vocal and electronic instrumentation. My projects include cello concertos, sonatas for violin and cello, concert fantasies, orchestral compositions, and soundtrack-oriented music.
All of my compositions are original works rather than covers or straightforward arrangements of existing music.
Discography
To date, I have completed 22 album projects across a wide range of genres.
My catalog includes the blues album Mississippi Tales, the wedding collection Two Hearts, One Song, the R&B/Soul/Jazz album La Minor, the bachata fusion project Fever Under the Ashes, as well as projects in Neoclassical music, Ambient Pop, relaxation music, and contemporary Slow Jazz.
One of my albums, PmP — La Minor, has already been released on major streaming platforms. Three additional album projects are currently in preparation for release.
I am currently also working on the country project The Real Deal and a suite for double bass and chamber orchestra.
Music Education
I continuously expand my professional knowledge in songwriting, composition, arranging, music theory, music history, and music production.
In 2026, I completed the professional specialization Songwriting: Writing, Arranging, and Producing Music at Berklee College of Music.
I have also completed specialized Berklee courses in lyric writing, music writing, arranging for songwriters, Ableton Live, and copyright law in the music business.
My additional academic training includes music theory at Michigan State University, an introduction to classical music through Yale University, and a specialized course on Blues as an American musical tradition through the Eastman School of Music at the University of Rochester.
My Approach
I believe modern music technology does not replace a professional approach to music. Instead, when used intelligently, it provides more opportunities to experiment, develop ideas, and turn creative concepts into finished productions.
My workflow is built around three principles.
Creative vision. Every project begins with understanding what the music needs to communicate — a story, emotion, atmosphere, image, genre, or specific creative objective.
Precise control. Genre, form, harmony, rhythm, timbre, vocals, instrumentation, dynamics, and arrangement should all serve a unified concept.
Professional final sound. The material is edited, arranged, mixed, and mastered in a DAW to produce a finished, release-ready track.
I am not focused simply on producing a large number of tracks. My goal is to create music that serves a specific purpose and can function as a finished commercial or artistic product.
A Little About Me
I’m 62.
I was born in St. Petersburg and have lived in Tbilisi, Georgia, for the past 10 years.
My first degree was in medicine, followed by a degree in economics. My professional path has taken me through several very different fields before leading me to music and creative production.
This experience has shaped my approach to work: I combine creative thinking with analytical reasoning, structured processes, and close attention to detail. My medical background has also given me an understanding of human perception and the ways music can influence mood, attention, and emotional response. This perspective helps me create music that connects with listeners on an emotional level.
Today, music is the central focus of my creative development. I continue to learn, experiment with new technologies, and expand my catalog of original music.
Whether you need a finished song or instrumental track, music for a film, commercial, or video project, or a completely original composition developed from your own concept, I can take a project from the initial idea to a professionally finished master.
I’m glad you’re here. Take a look around, listen to my music, explore my projects, and, if something inspires you, let’s create something together.
